ABOUT
Spoon DJ Workspace dedicated to women, trans and non-binary people.
Spoon's goal is to provide a safer space for DJs of all levels
(from absolute beginners to DJs with experience) where everybody can learn and practice
in a non-judgmental environment and develop a support network.
We offer various forms of DJ workshops and DJ trainings, in Berlin and worldwide,
one-on-one and in groups., in person and online.
Spoon is primarily focused on vinyl DJ'ing.
Our mentors have years of experience in DJ'ing and teaching.
ENA LIND
Ena Lind is a house DJ and producer. Their preference is for vinyl. They have been sharing their wide-ranging knowledge, through DJ'ing workshops in Berlin and internationally,
since 2010.
Ena is the co-founder of the Mint Berlin network and the Mint Campus workshop series.
In 2018, they founded the
DJ work space Spoon.
MENTORS

JENIFA MAYANJA
Ugandan born Jenifa Mayanja has been deeply entrenched in the underground Deep House Music scene in New York for more than 25 years and now lives in Berlin.
The DJ and producer co-created the label
Sound Warrior to showcase music production exclusively produced by women on vinyl. Jenifa teaches at the dBs Music School in Berlin.
RESOM
Resom has been teaching a range of DJ'ing courses in various settings, cities and countries since 2006
Her focus is definitely
towards vinyl, but no longer exclusively so.
